Self Acceptance.

Updated: Jun 18, 2020

A handmade designed necklace based on a client personal story.

This project is a development of a concept proposal for the launch of a new brand. I decided to focus on a response to what the society considers as “imperfections”. By designing the personal story of the client into the necklace, those “imperfections” transformed to uniquenesses. Main material: recycled silver.

The silver is used to recover one’s protection luck and psyches. In the past, it has commonly thought to have mystical powers effective against mental “monsters” and bad thoughts.

The brand’s aim is to encourage people to accept their unlikeness which they consider as their “complexes” through fashion accessories that have personal meaning for them. The accessories are designed basically on customers’ personal story. The proposal of the design is to switch the way the customer thinks about his/her “complexes” from negative to positive.

"The seeker" , The client, is a mind aware, selfconnected, however still steady and feet grounded while his/her main challenge is to be able to take off their “social masks”, and might even feel comfortable enough to share to the world who they really are.

The neckless above was designed for L. He asked to focus on a specific period of time, when he felt that he was locked in an "invisible cage", which stopped him from growing mentaly.

Package Design

Considering brand name, color palette, logo and pakacging, PH7 as a metaphor to describe the process of achieving self acceptance, fighting the ”imperfections”.

The color green symbolize pH7, a metaphor to the balance between the internal (The true-self) and external world (The society standards).
